Registered Nurse, PCU — travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 06/15/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,333–$2,494 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift: Nights, 2x3 schedule. Works in a hospital-based progressive care/imcu-style unit caring for high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults on a PCU/IMCU-style unit, including patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and chronic kidney disease
- Administer medications and therapies, including heparin drips, per physician orders and unit protocols
- Monitor vital signs, interpret hemodynamic data, and perform timely nursing assessments; respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary teams; assist with care planning and discharge planning
- Document accurately in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety, infection control, and effective pain and symptom management
- Educate patients and families on condition progression, treatment plans, and post-discharge care as appropriate
Requirements
- 2 years of RN experience in PCU/IMCU or a comparable high-acuity setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Active RN license (scope of practice as allowed by state regulations)
- Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to function in a fast-paced unit
