Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Viroqua, WI. This travel assignment begins 05/18/2026 for 12 weeks in a hospital setting with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Earn $1,971–$2,129 per week on a 3x12-hour night shift (7 p.m.–7 a.m.), with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to general medical-surgical patients, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions
- Develop and update nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, treatments, and timely charting in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-control-conscious environment; respond to clinical changes and emergencies per protocol
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Med Surg nursing experience or demonstrated competence in medical-surgical care
- Ability to work night shifts and the specified schedule, including rotating weekends/holidays
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; capacity to work effectively in a hospital setting
