Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including proper patient positioning and high-quality image acquisition
- Operate mammography imaging equipment, ensure diagnostic image quality, and follow ALARA and safety protocols
- Verify patient identity, document procedures, and submit images to the PACS for radiologist interpretation
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure accurate, timely exams and effective communication of results
- Maintain equipment, documentation, and patient privacy; adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements; maintain BLS and infection control standards
- Note: Guaranteed hours do not include on-call time
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (MA license) or eligibility, with active status at submission or on onboarding
- ARRT certification with Mammography credentials
- 1–2 years of screening and diagnostic mammography experience
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) and Flu vaccination
- Ability to work a DAYS shift (7:30 am–4:00 pm) in a travel assignment
