Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using appropriate protocols; adjust sequences to optimize image quality.
- Position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications; monitor for safety around the magnetic field and during imaging.
- Coordinate with radiologists to review images and communicate necessary findings or concerns.
- Operate X-ray imaging as needed within department workflow; apply radiation safety practices.
- Maintain accurate imaging records, verify patient data, and document procedures.
- Ensure equipment readiness, perform routine quality checks, and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety standards; collaborate with radiology colleagues and support staff.
Requirements
- ARRT registration (MRI)
- Siemens MRI experience preferred
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
- U.S. work authorization
