Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, including assessments, care planning, and interventions.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition with appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families; document care plans and progress in the electronic medical record; participate in handoffs during shift changes.
- Manage rapid admissions and discharges within a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Support post-operative and general medical patients, including wound care, IV therapy, and coordinated discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in Georgia; Nursys license verification preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry-related nursing experience
- Ability to work day shift in a fast-paced hospital setting; strong communication and independent judgment
- Resume or work history with no gaps greater than 60 days; Skills Checklist; References; Certification Card
