Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU (Neuro Medicine ICU) in Rochester, NY. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks in a Neuro-focused Medical/Surgical ICU. The unit details include a 12-bed, state-of-the-art Neuro ICU with a D/E/N rotation and holidays/on-call/callback requirements. Expect a 12-hour shift schedule (3x12s) averaging 36 hours per week. Compensation is $2,104 to $2,214 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for critically ill neuro patients, including those with traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other neurologic pathologies.
- Monitor and interpret neurological status, hemodynamics, telemetry, ventilator support, and continuous infusions; respond to changes promptly.
- Administer medications and therapies per protocol, including vasoactive infusions, seizure management, and sedation in collaboration with the ICU team.
- Perform frequent assessments, develop and implement care plans, document in the electronic medical record, and participate in rounds with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and family communication; participate in code duties and respond to emergent events per unit policy.
Requirements
- NY RN license (active, NY license only)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum two (2) years of ICU acute care experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift with D/E/N rotation and holidays/on-call/callback
