Travel Registered Dietician (Clinical) Job
Registered Dietitian (Clinical) needed for a travel, temporary assignment in a long-term care setting in Malone, New York. Start date 10/05/2026 for a 13- to 16-week engagement. Work 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,105 to $2,244. This role involves providing clinical nutrition services across the facility and related inpatient and outpatient areas, with potential hospital coverage as needed. The assignment requires active registration as a dietitian; Master’s degree is preferred. Reputable supervision and regulatory compliance are part of the role.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy for residents and patients across long-term care and affiliated hospital services
- Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition care plans; document progress in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and foodservice staff to support interdisciplinary care and safe meal delivery
- Adjust nutrition interventions based on clinical status, labs, and regulatory requirements; participate in care planning rounds
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, New York State Department of Health, CMS, and other applicable regulations
- Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics and therapeutic diets
- Serve as a liaison among providers, nursing, and dietary operations to optimize service delivery
Requirements
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD) license/credential (active)
- BLS certification
- Master’s degree preferred
- Clinical nutrition experience; prior long-term care or hospital-based experience preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and related inpatient/outpatient areas
- Availability to begin on 10/05/2026 for the 13–16 week assignment
- Travel assignment requires adaptability to the described environment
