Travel Social Worker Behavioral Health Job
Social Services - MSW (Masters of Social Work) – Everett, Washington. This travel assignment is set to begin 04/20/2026 for multiple weeks. Weekly pay: $1,745–$1,750 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2-week pay period. Shift: 5x8 Days (Mon–Fri), 07:30–16:00 (may flex to 08:00–16:30). Setting: hospital-based Case Management unit serving adults and geriatrics in a Level II trauma center.

Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support for Case Management, including insurance authorizations and prior authorization processing
- Coordinate post-acute referrals (rehab, long-term care, home care) and manage DME orders and community services
- Deliver Medicaid notices to patients and support benefits eligibility and discharge planning activities
- Document care coordination in EPIC and communicate with internal and external teams (PT, Interpretation Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation)
- Manage caseload documentation with typical caseloads of 18–24 patients (weekends up to 30) and support discharge planning through interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- Licensure: Washington state license not required for this role
- Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-timers accepted; acute care background helpful but not required
- Certifications: Epic charting experience required
- Skills: Proficiency with EPIC charting; ability to work in a hospital-based Case Management environment; strong organization and communication abilities
- Additional: Locals accepted: No; must be able to work on-site in Everett, WA; must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
