Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cath lab and IR procedures as scrub and support staff; maintain sterile technique and supply readiness
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot cath lab equipment (including C-arm) and related devices; support device implants and pacemaker/EP-related cases as needed
- Monitor patients during procedures, track hemodynamic data, respond to alarms, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain radiation safety protocols, assist with equipment cleaning and turnover between cases, and document procedural details
- Prepare and transport specimens as required; manage inventory and ensure ready access to mission-critical supplies
- May float to EP Lab when staffing needs arise; participate in on-call coverage as assigned
Requirements
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience; 2 years preferred
- Experience with pacemakers; ability to float to EP Lab
- RN candidates with Cath/IR scrub experience will be considered
- Eligible to work in the listed location and maintain credentialing timelines
