Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) needed for a travel assignment in Ukiah, CA. Start date: 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,941–$2,033 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide basic and advanced respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, including therapy administration and monitoring
- Manage care for ventilated patients and respond to changes in patient condition under physician orders
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
- Administer aerosolized therapies and oxygen therapy; adjust treatments per policy and physician orders
- Assist with department operations, training, and supervision of new staff as delegated
- Maintain compliance with policies related to all phases of respiratory therapy and complete necessary paperwork and charges for assigned patients
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner license (CA) and NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential required in CA; BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS certification required; PALS and NRP required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience: At least 2 years of recent respiratory care experience, including critical care; Level II NICU/Nursery experience preferred; 3 years’ technical experience preferred
- Other: Current license per state of assignment and ability to work in a hospital setting; night shift availability; NICU/OB experience required
- Additional: Must be able to float to nearby units or facilities as needed
