Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position in Templeton, California. Travel assignment starting 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,756–$1,842 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients as ordered by the physician and in accordance with department policies.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient response, adjusting care as needed within scope.
- Provide respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease across the continuum of care, following physician orders and department guidelines.
- Complete documentation in the electronic medical record, maintain flow sheets, and process charges for each patient.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and to supervise others as delegated, contributing to a collaborative care team.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to department policies during all respiratory procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to perform both basic and critical respiratory care services for adults and the elderly populations.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, flow sheets, and patient charges documentation.
- Demonstrated capacity to work with limited supervision and to oversee others as delegated.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
- Compliance with department policies, orders, and safety protocols; ability to work the night shift in a hospital setting.
