Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects, documenting accurately
- Observe, assess, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living and support residents’ mobility and comfort
- Adhere to care plans, safety protocols, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and resident well-being
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (state of Vermont) or eligibility to practice in Vermont
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to or during assignment
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for day and/or evening shifts
- Willingness to travel to the assignment location and comply with applicable facility policies
