Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Separately, Nebraska rewards you with wide open skies, rolling prairies, and quiet, scenic retreats. From the sandhills to tranquil lake communities, the state invites weekend adventures, nature trails, and meaningful connections within welcoming towns like Lexington. The cost of living in this region supports a comfortable lifestyle while you focus on career development and patient impact, and the regional health system provides robust resources to support your practice and well-being.
Locally, Lexington offers a tight-knit community environment with modern obstetric services, supportive colleagues, and a culture that values patient-centered care. For travel professionals, the opportunity to work across multiple states creates rich experiences—exposure to different birth settings, varied patient populations, evolving protocols, and the chance to weave together a broad professional network. The role also enables you to savor the best of both worlds: the familiarity of home comforts and the exhilaration of exploring new places within the U.S.
Core responsibilities center on comprehensive labor and delivery care: assessing maternal status, continuous fetal monitoring, assisting with labor progression, supporting pain management strategies, and providing guidance during delivery, C-section support when needed, immediate neonatal resuscitation, and thorough postpartum education for families. You’ll partner with physicians, midwives, and unit staff to coordinate care plans, ensure patient safety, and advocate for personalized birth experiences. This position offers competitive benefits, including a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and options to extend assignments with continuity of care. You’ll receive guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $2,383–$2,562, reflecting your expertise and the value you bring to the team. The arrangement supports flexibility with duration measured in weeks, and extensions allow you to deepen roots in the community or broaden your horizons elsewhere. A dedicated support team is available 24/7 to assist you while you travel, handle logistics, troubleshoot housing and credentialing, and address any on-the-ground needs so you can focus on patient care and professional growth.
Our partners are built on empowering clinicians, fostering ongoing skill development, and maintaining a supportive work culture that champions respect, resilience, and work–life balance. We invest in your professional journey with access to mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a path toward advanced practice within obstetric nursing. You’ll join a team committed to safety, continuous improvement, and compassionate care that elevates outcomes for families and communities.
