Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist and guide individuals toward clearer communication and brighter futures. In this specialty-focused travel opportunity, you’ll bring evidence-based assessment and therapy to communities while expanding your clinical repertoire across diverse settings. Starting 03/23/2026 in Santa Barbara, California, you’ll be part of a team that honors curiosity, precision, and compassionate care, helping children and adults alike find their voice. And when you’re not in session, you’ll have the chance to explore the stunning coastline, vineyards, and sun-drenched parks of this iconic California haven, from the cradle of the Pacific to hillside neighborhoods with breathtaking views.
Working in Santa Barbara blends professional purpose with a remarkable quality of life. The city’s mild climate fosters year-round outdoor activity, from surf breaks and shoreline coves to hiking in the Santa Ynez foothills. The region is known for strong schools, supportive families, and a collaborative healthcare community that values interdisciplinary care. If you’re drawn to broader experience, this role also offers opportunities to work in other U.S. locations through our traveler program, expanding your clinical exposure to rural clinics, urban hospitals, and specialized therapy centers. You’ll enjoy steady caseloads, manageable commute times, and a culture that respects your time and expertise.
Your responsibilities include comprehensive speech and language assessments, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and care teams. You’ll implement evidence-based rehabilitation strategies, monitor progress with robust data, and adjust plans to optimize outcomes for articulation, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing as appropriate to your caseload. You’ll mentor junior therapists, participate in peer review, and pursue ongoing professional growth through in-house CE opportunities and external certifications. The package is designed to attract and retain top clinicians: a competitive weekly pay range of 2,462 to 2,565, a bonus opportunity, housing assistance to ease relocation, and the option for contract extensions that align with your career goals. Our program also provides extensive travel support, including 24/7 assistance from our dedicated team so you never navigate a new setting alone. You’ll have access to clinical resources, teleconferencing for case consultations, and rapid access to clinical leadership whenever you need guidance.
At the core, our company is committed to empowering speech-language pathologists to advance professionally while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We cultivate a supportive, inclusive environment where your recommendations shape care practices, your growth is celebrated, and your expertise is shared across disciplines. We believe that when clinicians feel supported and valued, families and communities benefit from more effective communication outcomes. This is not just a travel assignment—it’s a pathway to mastery within your specialty, with mentors, colleagues, and opportunities to contribute to program development, outcomes research, and best-practice dissemination.
