Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Silver City, New Mexico. Start date 05/22/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $903–$931 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 06:00–18:30 (12-hour shifts). Setting: LTC – Nursing Home.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects according to the plan of care
- Conduct focused nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, document findings, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and catheter care as ordered
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Maintain accurate charting, ensure infection control practices, and uphold safety protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to update care plans and ensure resident comfort and safety
Requirements
- Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior start
- Prior nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours; comfortable working in a LTC environment
