X-Ray Tech (Radiology) – Travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 10-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,764–$1,802 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: four nights per week, 9:00 pm–7:30 am. Work setting: hospital imaging department with on-site lab.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures as ordered, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique according to standards for adult and pediatric patients.
- Observe and apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure, including shielding and proper equipment settings.
- Verify patient identification, prepare and position patients, and provide immobilization as needed to achieve high-quality images.
- Operate radiology equipment, select appropriate technique factors, acquire and monitor image quality, and review images for technical adequacy before finalizing studies.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely transmission of images to the PACS and linked patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, ordering physicians, and nursing staff to support efficient exam throughput and quality patient care; assist with patient transport to the imaging area as required.
Requirements
- Ability to work the night shift: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 pm–7:30 am
- Comfortable working in a hospital imaging department and adapting to a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in radiographic positioning and image acquisition with a focus on patient safety
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the care team and patients
