Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,929–$2,038 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed for this assignment. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines; apply critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses in a timely, safe manner.
- Document care, monitor patient safety and infection control practices, and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Float Pool note: Float Pool nurses on this unit should clock in to the unit being worked.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility, with ability to obtain active licensure)
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts on a 13-week assignment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
