Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job
Nuclear Medicine Technologist travel assignment in a hospital setting in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 13-week engagement with 40 hours per week (after orientation) on day shifts. Responsibilities
- Perform radiopharmaceutical preparation and general nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Conduct camera quality control and NRC-mandated daily and weekly QC procedures
- Prepare, monitor, and document EKGs for cardiac imaging exams
- Receive and document radioactive shipments in accordance with safety protocols
- Operate equipment including Siemens dual-headed ECAM with ESOFT processing, CAPTUS 3000NMISGE MAC 5000
- Maintain accurate patient records, position patients properly, and communicate results to the interpreting physician
Requirements
- Active Hawaii state license by start of assignment (traveler not in possession must apply on acceptance)
- ARRT or CNMT in Nuclear Medicine
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 3 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in day shift schedule
- Comfortable with floating to other units based on competency and licensure
