Travel Registered Nurse Endoscopy Job
Registered Nurse, Endoscopy travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,520 per week to $2,552 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Responsibilities
- Provide endoscopy patient care in collaboration with physicians, including preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for GI procedures
- Support procedures by assisting doctors and ensuring patient safety during sedation and recovery
- Administer medications as prescribed, including conscious sedation and IV drips, and monitor patient response
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry, observe rhythm changes, and document findings
- Recover patients after procedures, including post-anesthesia recovery as applicable
- Complete all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge instructions; maintain clean, sterile equipment and work environment
Requirements
- Active New York RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only) required
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience required
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification experience required
- Experience with conscious sedation and IV insertion; ability to recover patients from general anesthesia
- Ability to perform intake for GI procedures and provide thorough documentation
