Setting: ICU within a hospital environment with a 42-bed unit (East 20 beds, West 22 beds; Neuro/Med 22, CTICU 6, Surg/Trauma 14); floating to most units as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult ICU patients, including neuro, medical, and post-operative cases
- Monitor hemodynamics, medications, ventilator support, and CRRT (Prismaflex) as part of critical care management
- Assist with invasive procedures and advanced monitors (e.g., ICP monitoring, ventriculostomy) as trained; respond rapidly to clinical changes
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, implement physician orders, and document in EPIC EMR; participate in interdisciplinary rounds
- Collaborate with the charge nurse and other disciplines; ensure unit safety, infection control, and adherence to protocols
- Float to designated units as needed, excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless specifically held, with attention to scope of practice

Requirements
- Licenses: Current New York State RN license (active)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all current)
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Experience: 2+ years of ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU experience; travel experience documented on resume preferred
- Education: RN degree with active NY licensure
- Additional: Ability to float to multiple ICU-related units; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Submission must include RTO (requested time off) at time of application
- Charge nurse experience is preferred
