Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures using GE scanners (both older platform and Revolution platform) and document results accurately in the EPIC system.
- Position patients, apply proper imaging protocols, monitor for safety, and ensure high-quality CT images for interpretation.
- Verify orders, prepare equipment, and maintain radiation safety practices across trauma, stroke, and burn protocols as part of a Level 1 trauma environment.
- Collaborate with radiology team and radiologists to complete exams promptly and accurately; document findings in the EMR and ensure proper patient care flow.
- Provide patient care support during the imaging process, including contrast administration and monitoring per protocol as required.
