Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric outpatient evaluations and ongoing therapy for patients with developmental delays.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing feeding, activities of daily living, sensory integration, neurodevelopmental approaches, and visual perceptual skills.
- Perform developmental evaluations, administer appropriate assessments, and monitor progress to adjust care plans.
- Provide family- and patient-centered education, training, and home exercise program guidance; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team as needed, including Social Services.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in the electronic charting system; ensure accuracy and compliance with clinical standards.
Requirements
- Years of experience: 1 year
- Certifications: NBCOT certification; Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Licensure: Active occupational therapy license in the appropriate state (wa state-appropriate licensure or equivalent)
- Experience: Pediatric outpatient evaluation and treatment experience preferred
- Charting: Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health records
- Additional: Ability to work in outpatient pediatric setting; travel assignment; first-timers accepted; locals not accepted
- Compliance: Be prepared to provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years; disclose any background or Nursys issues at submittal
