Travel Registered Nurse Home Health Job

This travel-eligible, temporary assignment starts on 03/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,743 to $1,812 per week with guaranteed 40 hours. Shift: 16 hours per day (days). Setting: Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) with in-field nursing visits and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person participant assessments to determine level of care per plan of care.
- Perform regular field visits for wound care, health assessments, and other nursing tasks; document in EMR.
- Respond promptly to calls from PCP, triage, and support staff; document interactions and follow up as needed.
- Educate participants, DPOA, family, and facility staff; coordinate with providers, home care coordinators, pharmacies, and other partners.
- Initiate emergency treatment when necessary; document orders and apprise leadership of critical changes.
- Document falls, injuries, medication errors, incident reports, and quality measures; participate in ongoing quality improvement and orientation activities.
Requirements
- Licenses and education: RN license required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associates degree required; RN Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association or willingness to obtain.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with frail, elderly, or long-term care populations; 1 year home care and wound care experience preferred.
- Core qualifications: Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license, reliable transportation, and car insurance; 18 years of age or older.
- Vaccinations: Must be fully vaccinated, or willing to be fully vaccinated against influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, Covid-19, and Hepatitis B.
- Additional: Ability to perform full-scope field nursing, document thoroughly, and sustain effective communication with participants, families, and care teams.
