Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations following physician orders, ensuring correct positioning and optimized image quality for all requested projections.
- Operate radiographic equipment including DR fixed systems, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable DR units; apply appropriate technique and ensure radiation safety.
- Maintain patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation protection protocols, using a dosimetry badge, and following department guidelines.
- Document imaging procedures in the EPIC EMR, verify patient information, and ensure accurate image labeling and storage.
- Assist radiologists during procedures as needed and communicate effectively with clinical teams to ensure timely, accurate imaging support.
- Demonstrate independent work with minimal supervision and manage on-call responsibilities as required by the rotating shift schedule.

Requirements
- Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) must be current by start of assignment; if not currently licensed, must apply upon acceptance.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Proficiency in operation of radiographic equipment, including DR fixed, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable DR; strong knowledge of radiation safety and dosimetry.
- Experience with Epic EMR; experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro; EPIC experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a rotating schedule; on-island arrival required per onboarding process.
