Travel OR Tech (Certified Surgical Technologist) in Aberdeen, Washington. Start date 05/11/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: Rotating (primarily day shifts; hours vary with the OR schedule; on-call hours may be required). Setting: hospital operating room environment. Weekly pay range: $1,837 to $1,935.

Responsibilities
- Provide CST support to the OR, PACU, and Day Surgery areas; maintain clean, sanitary, aseptic, and orderly environments by following department procedures
- Assist staff with preparation of instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for procedures
- Assist with non-nursing administrative duties related to the department as assigned
- Adhere to sterile technique and asepsis; anticipate needs of the surgical team and respond quickly under pressure
- Work collaboratively with multiple physicians and OR staff; communicate effectively to ensure patient safety
- Follow director or designee instructions and participate in postoperative turnover as needed
Requirements
- Current certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (CST) and active Washington state licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum one year hospital surgical background preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED); successful completion of Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
- Thorough knowledge of asepsis, sterile techniques, OR instruments, and equipment
- Ability to work swiftly and skillfully under stressful circumstances; strong teamwork with a variety of physicians
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds from floor to waist, lift 50 pounds from stretcher to bed, push a 50-pound stretcher 300 feet, and overhead lift up to 5 pounds
- Ability to work in the OR environment and to meet the duties of the role, including handling equipment and assisting with procedures
