Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU in Sonora, California, United States. Start date: 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,038-$2,218 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This travel assignment requires ICU-level nursing care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and supervision of assigned nursing staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status; interpret data to determine diagnoses and care issues; develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and therapies; monitor for adverse reactions; respond to changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of various levels of nursing staff; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice (California)
- Current BLS certification; CPR/ALS requirements per policy
- ACLS and PALS required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
- At least two years of recent ICU/acute care experience
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work in an ICU hospital setting and meet shift requirements
