Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams including confirmation of viability, nuchal translucency, anatomy, growth assessments, and Biophysical Profiles
- Conduct umbilical artery Doppler studies and gynecologic follicle scans as part of the scope
- Manage a high-volume schedule, typically 12+ exams per day depending on provider availability
- Operate a GE VOLUSON ultrasound system and ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements
- Provide a verbal preliminary interpretation to clinical staff of significant or concerning findings
- Document findings in the patient record and coordinate with OB/GYN providers for next steps
Requirements
- OB/GYN ultrasound and general ultrasound experience
- Proficiency with GE VOLUSON ultrasound machines
- Ability to deliver a verbal preliminary finding to the clinical team
- Comfortable working night shift in an in-office OB/GYN setting
- Able to handle a high-volume exam flow and collaborate with providers
