Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) in Sonora, CA. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,916–$1,981 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: inpatient critical care environment within a unit-level care area. This is a travel temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ICU using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, wound/ostomy teams, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Document care plans, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record; participate in shift handoffs and care rounds.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; exercise professional judgment and critical thinking to prioritize care.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and infection control practices; respond to emergencies with timely assessment and action.
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license to practice in California
- ICU/critical care nursing experience required
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN acceptable)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in an ICU/critical care environment and comply with travel assignment requirements
