Responsibilities
- Provide triage, initial assessment, treatment, and supportive care for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care context.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications as indicated, and manage procedures within scope, including moderate sedation as required by protocol.
- Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and ancillary staff to ensure accurate handoffs, timely interventions, and efficient patient flow.
- Adhere to hospital and department policies, including NCI guidelines, safety, infection control, and documentation standards; recognize and escalate life-threatening changes promptly.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs; participate in discharge planning and coordination when appropriate.

- Moderate Sedation Training required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER/acute care environment
- Available for a 13-week travel assignment (start date 04/27/2026)
