Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse, Med Surg, Crookston, Minnesota, start date 07/13/2026,13 weeks, $2,881-$2,892 per week, shift 4x12 Days (07:00-19:00), hospital-based travel assignment. This role requires a nurse with ED and pediatric med-surg experience in a critical access setting and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside RN care to adult and pediatric patients in a Med Surg setting with ED and pediatric care components, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and interventions
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, wound care, and routine procedures per physician orders
- Collaborate with ED, pediatric, and nursing teams to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Document accurately in the EPIC electronic health record; ensure timely charting and chart abstraction as required
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, initiate appropriate interventions, and escalate as needed
- Incorporate infection control practices, safety protocols, and patient/family education into daily care
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required; NRP preferred
- Experience: 2 years Emergency Department experience and 1 year Med Surg PEDS in a Critical Access Hospital
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a 4x12-hour day shift
- Current RN licensure (active) and ability to practice in the applicable state
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient safety
