Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele, travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland, starting 05/26/2026 for 9 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,650–$1,737 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients in Med Surg Tele per organizational policies and professional standards.
- Provide bedside nursing care across the physical and developmental age range, using clinical judgment to plan and evaluate outcomes.
- Monitor patients and telemetry data; respond to changes in condition and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans.
- Administer medications and therapies, monitor responses, and document care accurately in the patient record.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members; supervise and guide other staff under direction to ensure quality nursing services.
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience; 2+ years’ experience working with stroke patients (documented on resume)
- Willingness to care for telemetry patients as needed
- NIHSS Certification and SIREN Certification or willingness to obtain within 48 hours if offered
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination on record (declinations not accepted)
