Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents under supervision and in collaboration with the nursing team
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocol
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain levels, and respond to changes in condition
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and communicate changes to the RN and physician
- Participate in care planning, report concerns promptly, and support a safe, respectful, and clean care environment
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state of Maine preferred)
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift
- Willingness to work in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Ability to pass credentialing and onboarding requirements and to meet facility-specific orientation
