Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under supervision of licensed staff, including activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, turning, positioning, and the performance of routine tasks to support comfort and safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition; communicate observations to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with meals and feeding as needed; document care provided and update patient records per facility policy.
- Maintain infection control, safety practices, and appropriate use of equipment; report any concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification (active license)
- Long-term care (LTC) experience required
- COVID-19 vaccinations required by state mandate
- Must be at least 65 miles away from the facility; local travelers will not be considered
- Ability to work days and maintain guaranteed 36 hours per week in a hospital setting
