Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel assignment in Concord, NH. Start date: 05/11/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,020–$2,197 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver and monitor prescribed respiratory therapies (oxygen, aerosolized meds, humidified air) per physician orders.
- Manage ventilator support and related therapies for adult and geriatric patients; adjust settings as directed and monitor patient responses.
- Perform airway clearance techniques and assist with weaning from respiratory support when appropriate.
- Collect and document clinical data, perform routine assessments, and communicate changes to the care team; document care in the electronic health record (EMR). Cerner experience is preferred but not required.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes; participate in care planning and rounds as indicated.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensure proper infection control and equipment cleaning, and report any device issues promptly.
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory therapies, safety, and equipment use.
- May be required to float to additional Concord area campuses if needed to cover patient demand.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Respiratory Therapist license with RRT credential
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty within an acute care setting, or travel/clinical travel experience accepted
- Ability to work 12-hour nights on a 2x3 schedule; flexibility to float to other nearby campuses as requested
- Certification requirements: RRT; license verification for NH must be completed
- Active driver’s license; address must match demographics on file
- RTO (time off) must be included at submission
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience preferred but not required)
