Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while aligning with department objectives.
- Co-lead in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, coordinating care with other clinicians.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy plans; implement and adjust interventions as needed.
- Monitor and document patient progress, communicating findings to the clinical team.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, activity modifications, and home programs.
- Ensure safety, adherence to standards, and quality of care throughout therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent in the United States.
- Active Physical Therapist license in California (CA PT license).
- Minimum 1 year of professional physical therapy experience; travel experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an inpatient care environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
