Polysomnographic Technologist (sleep studies) — Glenwood Springs, CO. This travel assignment starts on May 5, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Perform and score sleep studies (polysomnography) for inpatients in the clinical setting.
- Set up and download home sleep studies for outpatients.
- Monitor patients during sleep studies, ensure data quality, and apply standard scoring for sleep stages and events.
- Maintain and troubleshoot polysomnography equipment, ensuring proper calibration and recording integrity.
- Document findings and communicate results to the sleep medicine team; uphold patient safety and privacy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and adhere to institutional policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Certification: RPSGT certification required.
- Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licenses/ credentials: BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
- Experience: Previous Sleep lab experience.
- Work setting: Ability to perform duties in a sleep laboratory environment with inpatients and outpatients.
- Additional: Radius rule – traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the assigned site.
