Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting
- Perform thorough assessments, monitor changes in condition, and communicate findings to the care team
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments and document administration promptly
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor safety, apply infection control practices, and respond to clinical emergencies
- Document care activities and resident progress in the electronic health record; communicate with families and external providers as needed
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- Minimum 12 months of recent RN experience
- Ability to work 8-hour evening shifts
- Ability to work in a geriatric long-term care environment
- Credentials due by 10/10/2026 or ASAP; orientation provided on the first shift
