Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document findings and communicate changes to the care team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure unit-to-unit coordination; float pool guidance may require clocking in to the unit being worked.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license appropriate for the state of California
- ER nursing experience (minimum 1 year)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work in home healthcare and hospice settings
- Ability to obtain and maintain required travel credentialing and documentation
- Willingness to adhere to unit-specific policies, including clocking in to the designated unit
