Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Sonora, California. Start date: 09/08/2026. This is a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours and a 36-hour workweek. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect and analyze patient data, identify health issues, and develop a plan of care with timely interventions.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery with other disciplines, and monitor progress toward outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses, participate in discharge planning, and provide clear health information to patients and families.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, delegating tasks as appropriate and ensuring a safe, healing environment.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary treatment team to support education, follow-up, and continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) or as required for the assignment.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field, with preference for ER or acute care exposure.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS).
- BSN is preferred but not required.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ER environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
