Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse – Oncology (Outpatient) in Lawrenceville, GA for a travel temporary assignment starting May 18, 2026. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support and care coordination for oncology patients in the outpatient setting
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned (patient check-in, chart preparation, scheduling coordination) with appropriate clinical input
- Triage patient needs and communicate effectively with the care team to maintain clinic flow
- Document care and administrative activities accurately in the electronic health record; maintain HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth scheduling and patient throughput
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and BLS requirements; note that medication administration is not required at this site
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology, preferably gynecologic oncology
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with electronic health records and outpatient clinic workflows
- Ability to work on-site in Lawrenceville, GA; Monday–Friday day schedule
- Comfortable performing administrative tasks in addition to nursing duties and able to adapt to a non-medication-administration environment
