Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse – Oncology, Geneva, New York. Travel assignment begins May 11, 2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,912 to $2,019 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating day/night shifts, scheduled as needed by the client, with weekends, holidays, and two on-call shifts every four weeks. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family needs, develop a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and coordinate care across the patient’s episode.
- Provide direct care to adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients with medical conditions, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and document outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and families to support understanding of self-care and health maintenance after discharge.
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and comfort, while advocating for patient rights and needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to adjust the plan as patient conditions change and goals evolve.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS: AHA or RQI, as required)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour rotating schedule, including day/night coverage, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting
