Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations following departmental protocols, including patient preparation and positioning for optimal imaging
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjust imaging parameters, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Document findings in Epic and generate preliminary reports per policy
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards; comply with applicable safety protocols
- Collaborate with ordering clinicians and interpreting physicians to support accurate interpretation and follow-up steps
- May float to other units or affiliate facilities as needed to meet patient care demands
Requirements
- Valid California license required and must be in-hand at submission
- Copy of certifications required at submission
- Epic charting experience required
