Travel Registered Nurse Dialysis Job
Registered Nurse - Dialysis, travel assignment in a hospital-based outpatient dialysis unit serving ESRD patients in the Burlington, Vermont area. Start date 06/11/2026 for a 4-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,359 to $2,477 per week. Shift: 5x8 Day shifts. This position requires a license on file at submission, AHA BLS certification, and EPIC EMR experience within the past two years. The role includes floating to nearby sites as needed, and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to outpatient hemodialysis patients, including ESRD management and dialysis treatment administration
- Monitor patient status during dialysis, assess vital signs, document findings, and respond to equipment alarms and patient needs
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment, maintain sterile technique, and uphold infection control standards
- Administer medications per physician orders, manage IV access, and monitor vascular access sites
- Document care and progress in the EPIC EMR; coordinate with nephrology and the dialysis team; provide patient education on dialysis care and fistula maintenance
- Ensure safety and quality of care, manage emergencies per protocol, and participate in shift handoffs and care planning
Requirements
- Active RN license on file at time of submission (Vermont state license or eligible multi-state license)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; minimum 1 year outpatient dialysis experience
- Travel experience preferred; ability to float to St. Albans and Berlin as needed
- Flexible schedule; able to work 8, 9, 10, or 12-hour shifts; Saturday requirements may apply
