Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) – Morrisville, VT. This travel assignment starts 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,042 to $2,147, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, age-appropriate patient care in the ER using the Nursing Process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
- Administer medications, monitor effects, initiate IV access, provide wound care, and support urgent procedures.
- Triage patients, prioritize care, and participate in rapid response and emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case management, and ancillary teams; delegate tasks as appropriate; participate in shift handoffs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements; demonstrate leadership as needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (VT or eligible for licensure)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications active prior to contract start date
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment; comfortable with rotating shifts
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; patient safety minded
