Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Sonora, CA. This travel, temporary assignment begins 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital-based ER, with nights on 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion.
- Provide triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
- Document patient status and outcomes, administer medications and therapies within scope, and monitor for changes in condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure safe, efficient, and timely care; maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the ER stay.
Requirements
- Active California RN license.
- Ability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, in an ER/acute care setting.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/21/2026.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
