Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography examinations (primarily transthoracic) and acquire high-quality images.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position the patient, monitor for comfort and safety, and document findings according to department protocol.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; optimize imaging parameters and ensure image quality.
- Collaborate with cardiology and radiology staff to coordinate exams, review results, and ensure accurate case reporting.
- Maintain patient records, manage workflow, and assist with scheduling and patient coordination as needed.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; participate in department education sessions as required.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital setting.
- Must attend department quarterly education sessions.
- License and certification requirements as indicated in the job notes (exact details to be confirmed during hiring).
- Experience and education requirements will be defined per job notes and validated during the selection process.
- Availability to work a Day shift in a travel assignment and adapt to a hospital schedule.
