Step into a purpose-driven role as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care, where every shift offers the opportunity to enrich the lives of residents, empower families, and strengthen the fabric of compassionate care. In this dedicated long-term care setting, you will partner with interdisciplinary teams to support aging adults in maintaining dignity, independence, and comfort. Imagine applying clinical skill, empathy, and meticulous observation to create steady routines, timely interventions, and personalized care plans that reflect each resident’s values and goals. This assignment begins on 03/16/2026 and runs for multiple weeks, inviting you to bring your expertise to a community that values every moment of care. You’ll have the chance to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact day after day, building trust with residents and their loved ones, and seeing the tangible difference thoughtful nursing makes in the trajectory of someone’s life. And as you explore Pennsylvania, you’ll also uncover the state’s beauty and variety—from tranquil rural farms and rolling valleys to historic towns and thriving city scenes.
Pennsylvania offers a rich tapestry of scenery and culture. From the snow-kissed trails of the Pocono Mountains to the charming countryside of rural Bucks and Lehigh Valleys, from historic Philadelphia’s iconic landmarks to the serene shores of Lake Erie and the Great Lakes region nearby, the Keystone State showcases nature, history, and vibrant communities. Whether you’re drawn to quiet neighborhoods or bustling corridors of care, you’ll find spaces that feel like home while you grow in your role. The location you’ll serve—Quakertown—offers a welcoming community feel with proximity to parks, family-friendly amenities, and excellent access to regional healthcare networks, making it a practical and rewarding place to practice high-quality long‑term care nursing. Beyond Quakertown, the opportunity exists to collaborate with facilities in various locations across the United States, expanding your professional horizons while you remain supported by a network that prioritizes your safety and success.
Quakertown’s Bucks County setting blends small-town warmth with easy access to broader resources, creating a balanced backdrop for compassionate care. You’ll appreciate a community that values patient-centered approaches, fellowship among caregivers, and the chance to learn from diverse resident needs. This program also extends the possibility to work in other locations across the country, providing exposure to different care models, regulatory environments, and cultural contexts. You’ll experience new facilities, engage with varied geriatric populations, and refine your practice as you adapt to different teams and workflows—all within a structured framework designed to preserve consistency, safety, and professional growth. The pathway you choose can include longer assignments if you and the facility want to continue the partnership.
Role specifics and benefits are designed to support your success. As an LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll contribute to comprehensive care plans, monitor vital signs, administer medications, perform medication reconciliation, manage wound care, monitor for changes in condition, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to maintain residents’ comfort and dignity. You’ll document observations in electronic health records, participate in rounds, support infection prevention practices, and reinforce fall prevention and safety protocols. The position emphasizes professional growth within geriatrics, including wound care, palliative considerations, pain management, and transitions of care, with mentorship and ongoing education to deepen expertise. In return for your dedication, you’ll enjoy competitive compensation, including a weekly pay range of 866 to 897 dollars, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week and a consistent assignment structure that respects both patient needs and your work-life balance. We also offer a sign-on or completion bonus, housing assistance to ease relocation or interim housing, and extension opportunities should you and the facility choose to continue the collaboration beyond the initial term. And throughout every rotation, you’ll have access to 24/7 support from our travel nursing team, ensuring you have a reliable safety net, guidance, and rapid assistance whenever you need it while you’re on assignment.
