Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed cardio-pulmonary therapies according to physician orders, including ventilatory support, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and suctioning
- Monitor patient response to treatments; document findings and adjust therapy per protocol and orders
- Assist with cardio monitoring activities and cross-training in EKGs, stress testing, Holter/Event monitoring, and EEGs as assigned
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory equipment; respond to alarms and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care plans; perform shift handoffs and accurate charting
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards; ensure timely documentation and reporting

Requirements
- Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing
- Active NBRC RRT certification
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum 5 years of current RRT experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a rotating schedule
- Cross-training capability in cardio-related areas (EKG, stress tests, Holter/Event monitors, EEGs)
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- Perm address must be included in profile
- All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of submission; RTO requests after offer/interview may be rescinded
- Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours
