Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Technologist — Surgical Tech specialty, travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,416–$1,476 per week. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour daytime shifts (10-hour days). Dayshift runs approximately 6:45 am–5:15 pm, with on-call, holidays, and weekend duties; no block scheduling. This role takes place in a busy acute care setting within a health system.

Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and maintain sterile technique for operative procedures; pass instruments, sponges, and supplies as needed
- Manage instrument counts and assist the surgical team with setup, intraoperative needs, and device handling
- Facilitate patient positioning, draping, and readiness for procedures; monitor safety and sterile conditions throughout cases
- Anticipate surgeon needs, maintain instrument flow, and support trauma-related cases with speed and accuracy
- Maintain instrument trays, back-table setup, and specimen handling; document intraoperative details per policy
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards and participate in unit-specific procedures and turnover
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience; must be listed in work history as Level 1 trauma
- Strong overall skills demonstration with a high rating on the documented skills checklist
- Ability to work the stated shift schedule, including call, holidays, and weekends
- HWL profile required, including load of demographic information and badge photo (full SSN as part of profile)
- Eligible to participate in a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA (US work authorization)
