Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Marysville, CA. Start date 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay $2,019.00–$2,203.00 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. The ER RN delivers patient-centered care across a broad age range, collaborating with the medical team to implement the plan of care and coordinate discharge planning.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across age groups, in collaboration with physicians and the health care team.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and assist with procedures within scope; monitor patient responses and document findings.
- Recognize and respond to acute changes in patient condition; provide rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization as part of the emergent care team.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed; ensure readiness of equipment and supplies.
- Deliver patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with ancillary services to support safe transitions of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic health record (EPIC) and uphold infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
- Emergency Department requirements: PALS certification required at time of hire; TNCC within 1 year; IV Sedation competency within 6 months
- Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia during orientation (except for Obstetrics/NICU)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or ER settings
- EPIC experience preferred; ability to navigate a fast-paced ER environment
- Education: BSN preferred (ADN accepted with relevant experience)
